Inside the NFL playoff races

It’s December. Time to take a close look at the NFL’s playoff races.

I know, I know. What races?

On the AFC side things are as close to set with five weeks to go as they’ll probably ever be. There isn’t even as much intrigue in the NFC as usual.

The intrigue is at the bottom ends – the wild-card races.

Teams atop six of the league’s eight divisions likely have insurmountable leads: New England in the AFC East, Houston in the AFC South, Baltimore in the AFC North, Denver in the AFC West, Atlanta in the NFC South and San Francisco in the NFC West.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
