Ravens a closer team after 'mutiny' against John Harbaugh

Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh had a "mutiny" on his hands on Halloween, when he told his team they were practising in pads the first day after a bye week. "It was practically a mutiny," an unnamed player told Michael Silver of Yahoo! Sports in an exclusive report. Safety Ed Reed was among the disgruntled veterans who didn't withhold their disappointment. "Rather than squashing the mini-uprising," Silver wrote, "the coach welcomed the dialogue and solicited additional criticism. Soon, the meeting turned surreal, as the subject shifted to Harbaugh's treatment of his players and perceived mood swings." The unnamed player said, "It came very close to getting out of control. But the way coach Harbaugh handled it was amazing. He let people have their say, and he listened, and he explained himself, and pretty soon it was like a big group-therapy session.
