Jaguars could go after Tim Tebow in trade?

With the NFL trade deadline looming Thursday, a Florida television station reported Tuesday that the Jacksonville Jaguars could be pursuing home-state hero Tim Tebow.

ActionNewsJax.com was trying to confirm its report from anonymous sources with Jaguars management, which has expressed previous interest in the New York Jets quarterback.

Meanwhile, Jets sources told NFL.com that there are no trade discussions between the teams for Tebow.

Tebow is in his first season with the Jets after coming over from Denver, which he helped lead to the playoffs last season, in a trade in March. At that time, Jaguars owner Shad Khan wanted general manger Gene Smith to go after Tebow.

The former Heisman Trophy winner has seen limited duty with the Jets this season, completing just two of three passes and rushing 23 times for 78 yards.

In college, Tebow played on national-championship teams at Florida and remains popular in the state, fueling the trade rumors that he possibly could land in Jacksonville.

Is first round pick Eric Fisher a decent choice by the Kansas City Chiefs?
  Yes.
  No.
He has to prove himself before I decide.
