Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, who has a four-year contract worth a guaranteed $22 million, is making a bit of extra pocket change from autograph hounds.

Newton will sign autographs Saturday at a mall in Charlotte, N.C., but the price won't be cheap.

Newton is asking $125 to sign a photo, $150 to sign a football and $175 to sign a jersey or shirt, the Charlotte Observer has reported. If you want the quarterback to personalize the autograph with, say, a "Dear John," that'll cost an extra $50.

"It's not a cheap hobby," said Gary Takahashi, whose company, GT Sports Marketing, has Newton signed to a multi-year contract for autograph shows.
