What number will Peyton wear?
Manning's No. 18 retired by Broncos

So, what jersey number will Peyton Manning wear in Denver?

For 14 years he wore No. 18 in Indianapolis with the Colts. But that number is retired in Denver.

Frank Tripucka — father of former Notre Dame and Detroit Pistons basketball standout Kelly Tripucka — was a standout quarterback for the Broncos in the franchise's fledgling years, 1960-63, after a star stint in the CFL. Denver later retired his No. 18 jersey.

But Tripucka, who's now 84, told the Denver Post he'd be willing to unretire it, if Manning wants it.

Manning wore No. 18 in high school in New Orleans. The only other QB-eligible jersey number the Broncos have retired is No. 7 — John Elway's.

Do you think Chad Johnson can still play at a high level in the NFL?
Yes, he is a talented receiver
No, he is too old to play
CFL might be a better option
