Peyton Manning’s suitors sure are starting to get comfortable talking about how comfortable he looked in their workouts — except, of course, for the stealthy San Francisco 49ers.

Manning worked out for the Tennessee Titans on Wednesday, a day after he did the same for the Denver Broncos, and four days after the 49ers sneaked in to see Manning without the news hitting publicly until Friday.

Unlike San Francisco’s silent treatment, Titans general manager Ruston Webster followed the lead of Broncos vice president John Elway. Elway praised Manning’s progress in his comeback from a missed season after multiple neck surgeries.

Webster did the same Saturday, following Elway’s statement about Manning looking “comfortable” and taking an important step in the process with one of his own.

“This morning we traveled to Knoxville and had a workout with Peyton,” Webster said in a statement released by the team Saturday. “I thought he looked comfortable throwing the ball and we had a good visit. This is another important step in the process.”
