Ever since they were young kids growing up in the Bayview-York Mills area of Toronto, the Ryan twins have been sharing secrets.

Now that they are big-shot coaches in the National Football League, that hasn’t changed.

Indeed, after his defensive game plan stifled the Buffalo Bills 27-11 at Ralph Wilson Stadium on Sunday, New York Jets head coach Rex Ryan this week will be passing on the keys to stopping Ryan Fitzpatrick and Co., to his brother, Rob Ryan, the defensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys. Fitzpatrick’s Bills meet Rob’s Cowboys in Dallas next Sunday.

Of course, before acknowledging that he would be chatting with Rob this week, Rex felt obligated to get a few digs in.

“My brother has got all the answers,” Rex said. “He’s a better coach than me. And, yeah, he’s got better hair than me. But he’s also fatter than me.

“Yes, we’ll be talking.”

At least the Bills have one thing going for them. Rob can absorb all the inside info from Rex he wants about beating Buffalo. But the Cowboys do not have the Darrelle Revis-Antonio Cromartie tandem at corners, which should make life easier for Fitzpatrick than it was against the Jets.
