TORONTO - STUDS

Ben Roethlisberger, QB, PIT, 228 passing yards, 5 passing TDs, 1 INT, 28 points — Looks like that injured foot didn't slow him down in the slightest.

Adrian Peterson, RB, MIN, 122 rushing yards, 3 TDs, 30 points — Put his team on his back and ran over the poor Arizona Cardinals.

BenJarvus Green-Ellis, RB, NE, 136 rushing yards, 2 TDs, 13 receiving yards, 26 points — Remember how we told you not to get your hopes up for Stevan Ridley?

Dwayne Bowe, WR, KC, 128 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 24 points — That makes three games in a row with at least a TD. Could another streak be forming?

Pierre Garcon, WR, IND, 125 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 24 points — He sure has formed a bond with new starting QB Curtis Painter.

Joel Dreesen, TE, HOU, 112 receiving yards, 1 TD, 17 points — He and Owen Daniels saw their roles increased with Andre Johnson sitting out.

Nick Novak, K, SD, 5 FGs, 2 PATs, 17 points — After Nate Kaeding went down, Novak has looked more than competent in his role.

San Francisco 49ers DEF, 3 points allowed, 3 sacks, 2 INTs, 1 fumble recovered, 1 TD, 22 points — They were all over the visiting Bucs, who looked gassed.

DUDS

Stevie Johnson WR, BUF — It was a big win for the Bills, but a bad game for Stevie, who had a mere 29 yards.

Kyle Orton QB, DEN

 — Could this be the beginning of the Tebow era? Orton passed for 34 yards on 6/13 attempts before being pulled.

Eric Decker WR, DEN

 — We’ve already established that his QB had a bad day, but Decker had an incredible minus-4 receiving yards on two catches.

Dallas Clark TE, IND — Remember when Clark was lighting it up with Peyton Manning? Well, with Curtis Painter he gets ho-hum games with only seven total yards.

I HOPE YOU STARTED

Kansas City’s Matt Cassel faced little resistance from Indy’s defence, passing for four TDs and 257 yards while only being started in 8% of Yahoo! leagues.

You won’t hear this from Giants fans, but Victor Cruz could’ve been your hero this past week, despite a fumble and a late pick-six that was thrown his way, he had a solid fantasy outing with a TD and 161 yards. He’s still out there in 41% of leagues.

WHEN I'M WRONG I SAY I'M WRONG

“Start Ryan Torain.”

Sounds like sound advice following his breakout week, right? Too bad Washington was on their bye. Whoops.
