Philadelphia, PA - Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick is active and ready to go against the New York Giants.

Vick, who has been recovering from a concussion all week, was listed as questionable on Friday's injury report.

The star quarterback was hurt during last Sunday's loss to the Falcons, when his helmet struck teammate Todd Herremans as he was being tackled by safety William Moore.

After missing practice on Wednesday, Vick practiced in full the next two days. He also passed all the concussion tests.

Backup QB Vince Young is active for the first time this season. He missed the first two games while recovering from a hamstring injury.

Defensive ends Darryl Tapp (pectoral) and Juqua Parker (ankle) are inactive.

Texans RB Foster inactive

Houston Texans running back Arian Foster is inactive for Sunday's game against the New Orleans Saints because of a hamstring injury.

Foster was a game-time decision coming into Sunday.

After missing the first game of the season, Foster played last week and rushed 10 times for 33 yards. He also caught two passes for seven yards.

Foster rushed for an NFL-best 1,616 yards and 16 touchdowns last season, becoming one of the premier backs in the league, but aggravated the left hamstring injury on August 27.

Ben Tate will start in Foster's place.

Browns RB Hillis out vs. Dolphins

Cleveland Browns running back Peyton Hillis has been listed as inactive for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins due to illness.

Hillis was sent home from practice on Friday after feeling sick, and apparently has not recovered enough to play.

The four-year veteran ran for 94 yards and two scores in Week 2, helping the Browns defeat the Indianapolis Colts. Hillis rushed for 1,177 yards and 11 touchdowns in 16 games last season.

In addition to Hillis, quarterback Thaddeus Lewis, defensive back Eric Hagg (knee), linebacker Titus Brown (ankle), offensive linemen Steve Vallos and Tony Pashos (ankle) and tight end Jordan Cameron will not play Sunday.

Broncos' Bailey inactive

Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey is inactive for Sunday's game at the Tennessee Titans.

Bailey missed practice all week with a hamstring injury that he suffered against the Oakland Raiders in Week 1.

The 33-year-old Bailey also missed last Sunday's 24-22 win against Cincinnati.

Wide receivers Eddie Royal and Demaryius Thomas, defensive tackle Marcus Thomas, tight end Julius Thomas, defensive end Elvis Dumervil and tackle Tony Hills are also inactive.

Bengals WR Simpson active

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Jerome Simpson is active against the San Francisco 49ers.

Simpson is the focus of a drug investigation.

According to reports, police confiscated a package containing 2 1/2 pounds of marijuana that was being shipped from California to Simpson's Kentucky home.

When police showed up at the house on Tuesday in a controlled delivery, a woman, Aleen Smith, accepted the package and Simpson was discovered inside along with teammate Anthony Collins.

Police asked to search the home and found a further six pounds of marijuana along with paraphernalia.

Simpson and Collins were then detained by police, but no arrests were made and the investigation is being continued by federal and state officials.

Simpson is in his fourth year in the NFL and has eight catches for 180 yards on the season. Collins is also in his fourth season and has started 16 of the 33 games he has played in.

Collins is also active for the Bengals.
