NASHVILLE -- The Tennessee Titans and running back Chris Johnson have reportedly agreed to a new contract.

According to the Tennessean, the two sides have worked out a four-year deal worth $53 million with $30 million guaranteed.

Johnson, who still had two years left on his original contract, had been embroiled in a lengthy holdout. He missed all of training camp and the entire preseason, then on Monday was placed on the reserve/did not report list.

The East Carolina product has rushed for more than 1,000 yards in each of his first three NFL seasons, including a 2,006-yard campaign in 2009. Last year he ran for 1,364 yards with 11 touchdowns.
