FOXBORO, MASS. - New England Patriots wide receiver Chad Ochocinco is still adjusting to his new surroundings -- so much so that he hasn't yet found a place to live.
But Ochocinco has a plan, at least for the first two or three weeks of the season.
He says will stay with a Patriots fan.
"They have to have Internet and they have to have Xbox and that's about it," Ochocinco said Tuesday, unsure of how exactly he will go about picking the lucky fan.
Trying to get acclimated to the Boston area, Ochocinco said he has avoided using GPS as a way to learn the city better by getting lost on purpose.
"This past weekend, I was a little frustrated because I was lost for about an hour, an hour and thirty minutes, and I couldn't get where I needed to," he said. "And that's it. Boston, or actually Heaven, has been good."
Ochocinco insisted he was serious about living with a fan, even as someone warned him there "could be crazy people."
"I rode a bull. I'm crazy," he said, referring to a highly-publicized charity event that took place during the lockout. "Same thing."
Acquired from the Bengals for a couple of draft picks, Ochocinco will see his first action in a Patriots uniform during the team's preseason opener against Jacksonville on Thursday night.
He said he was anxious to get on the field.
But not, apparently, to find a permanent home.
