Buccaneers give Black five-year deal

Tampa, FL - The Tampa Bay Buccaneers reached an agreement on a five-year contract with linebacker Quincy Black on Friday.

Financial terms were not disclosed, but The St. Petersburg Times, which cited Black's agent on Thursday, reported the deal to be worth $29 million. It also includes a guarantee of $11.5 million.

In 11 games for the Bucs last season, Black recorded 61 tackles, two sacks and one interception.

Black has 189 tackles, 3 1/2 sacks and two interceptions over four seasons with Tampa Bay.

In addition, the Bucs announced the signing of tackle Jeremy Trueblood to a two-year deal.

The former second-round pick in the 2006 draft has started in 68 of his 77 career games.
