PHILADELPHIA - From the start, Arizona was the ideal team to land Kevin Kolb. It seems like that will become a reality by Friday.

Many pundits expected the Eagles to deal the quarterback once trading opened up, but nothing has happened yet.

However, the NFL Network reports that the Cardinals are pretty much set on Kolb. It's almost certain that cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie will be a part of the trade, though Philadelphia also wants a high-round draft pick in the deal.

If you went on the Eagles website Wednesday afternoon, you could order a Rodgers-Cromartie jersey.

Seattle and Arizona were also players in the Kolb sweepstakes. The Seahawks took themselves out of the running with the reported signing of Tarvaris Jackson.

Other quarterback shuffling throughout the league has left the Cardinals with the choice of Kolb or Denver's Kyle Orton.
