INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Colts are reportedly keeping veteran kicker Adam Vinatieri around for three more years.
The Star reported the deal, which cannot become official until Friday.
The 38-year-old Vinatieri is coming off a stellar 2010 where he converted 26- of-28 field-goal attempts during the regular season.
Entering his 16th NFL campaign, Vinatieri has made 364-of-440 field-goal attempts over 227 career games with the Patriots and Colts. He spent his first 10 years in the league in New England and won three Super Bowls, and won another in his first year with Indy.
