BOSTON -- New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is reportedly set to undergo surgery on his injured right foot within the next week.

Brady dealt with a stress fracture in his foot throughout the season, and, according to the Boston Globe, has opted to go under the knife as early as Thursday to remedy the problem.

Despite wearing a walking boot at points during the year, the All Pro QB never missed a game in 2010 and had one of his best seasons, finishing with a 111.0 quarterback rating with 36 touchdowns and just four interceptions.

He did not throw a pick in his final 11 games of the regular season, but in the AFC Divisional playoff round against the Jets last Sunday, the three-time Super Bowl champion tossed an interception on New England's first drive of the game and showed limited mobility throughout, getting sacked five times in the 28-21 loss.

The Globe indicates the 33-year-old Brady will be ready for training camp come August.
