PHILADELPHIA -- Vikings quarterback Brett Favre is inactive for Tuesday's game at Philadelphia after suffering a concussion in last Monday's loss to Chicago.

Favre, 41, would have had to pass concussion-related tests in order to play against the Eagles.

Rookie Joe Webb, who took over after Favre was knocked out of last week's game in the second quarter, will make his first career start.

Vikings running back Adrian Peterson will suit up despite ankle and knee injuries that likely would have sidelined him if the snow-delayed game was played on Sunday as originally scheduled.

Minnesota safety Madieu Williams, who also suffered a concussion against Chicago, is inactive for the Eagles game.
