ARLINGTON, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys are set to officially end the season of quarterback Tony Romo, and will place the starter on injured reserve.

The team's website reported on Tuesday afternoon that the move was imminent.

Romo hasn't taken a snap since October 25, when he suffered a fractured left collarbone in a 41-35 loss to the New York Giants.

In six games this season, the Eastern Illinois product threw for 1,605 yards, 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions on 148-of-213 completions.
