PITTSBURGH - Pittsburgh Steelers star safety Troy Polamalu and tight end Heath Miller are both doubtful for Sunday's game against the New York Jets.

Polamalu aggravated a lower leg injury during a 45-yard interception return touchdown versus the Bengals last Sunday. The USC product played through the injury and recorded a second pick in the fourth quarter.

Polamalu missed all three days of practice this week. He has recorded 62 tackles, six interceptions and one sack over 13 games this season.

Miller sustained a concussion when he was hit hard by Ravens linebacker Jameel McClain in a Week 13 victory over the Ravens. McClain was fined $40,000 by the NFL for the hit.

Miller missed last Sunday's game against the Bengals. Miller passed his post- concussion tests earlier this week and practiced on Wednesday. He was then held out of Thursday's session before practicing in full on Friday.

The Virginia product has caught 33 passes for 384 yards and one touchdown over 12 games this season.

The Steelers are 10-3 and sit atop the AFC North standings.
