NEW YORK -- The NFL has announced that Detroit's Ford Field will host the game between the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings.

The decision to change venues was made after the Metrodome's inflatable roof collapsed overnight because of snow accumulation.

The game, set to begin at 7:20 p.m. (EST) on Monday, had already been postponed after the Giants were unable to fly to Minneapolis on Saturday because a brutal storm crippled the area.
