EDEN PRARIE, MN - The Vikings are finally getting one of their best pass catchers back.
Minnesota activated wide receiver Sidney Rice from the physically unable to perform list Saturday, adding him to the roster for the first time this season.
The 3-6 Vikings have been without Rice since before training camp after he injured his hip during the team's loss to New Orleans in the NFC Championship game.
Minnesota plays Green Bay at home on Sunday.
Rice, 24, had a breakout season and earned a Pro Bowl selection while catching passes from Brett Favre last year. He hauled in 83 passes for 1,312 yards and eight touchdowns, playing all 16 games.
