ARLINGTON, Tex. -- Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo suffered a broken left collarbone early in the second quarter of Monday's game against the New York Giants.
The injury occurred with 12:07 left, when Giants linebacker Michael Boley drove Romo into the ground after the quarterback had released a pass. Romo landed on his left shoulder, and was replaced by Jon Kitna.
Romo initially wanted to re-enter the game, but soon left for the locker room to be examined. He returned to the sideline in the third quarter out of his pads and wearing a sling.
