TAMPA, FL - Tampa Bay Buccaneers tight end Jerramy Stevens was arrested on felony drug charges on Saturday night and will not play in Sunday’s game against St. Louis.

According to the St. Petersburg Times, Stevens was arrested at 7 p.m. (et) and charged with felony possession of cannabis with intent to sell, felony possession of cannabis and a misdemeanor of possession of drug paraphernalia, citing the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s website. He posted a $4,500 bond a few hours later and was released.

This was not the first brush with the law for Stevens, as the tight end was arrested in 2007 in Arizona on a DUI charge and possession of marijuana, which he served a one-game suspension.

Stevens also missed the first two games of the 2008 season for violating the National Football League’s substance abuse policy.

The 30-year-old has caught three passes for 43 yards this season.
