Detroit Lions quarterback Shaun Hill left Sunday's game against the New York Giants with a hand injury.

Hill sustained the injury late in the second quarter, when he was hit at the knees after a pass attempt. He was replaced by Drew Stanton, who continued to take the snaps at the start of the second half.

Hill had started in place of the injured Matthew Stafford.

Detroit Lions linebacker Zack Follett was also carted off the field after being hit hard on a kick return in Sunday's game against the New York Giants.

The Giants' Jason Pierre-Paul delivered a helmet-to-helmet hit and Follett dropped to the ground. Play was halted as Follett lay on the turf and players from each team took a knee.

Trainers stabilized Follett on a backboard before he was driven off the field.
