PHILADELPHIA -- Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick practiced Friday for the first time since suffering a rib injury in Week 4, but head coach Andy Reid declared Kevin Kolb as the team's starting quarterback for Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons.

Vick missed last Sunday's 27-24 win over the 49ers after sustaining cartilage damage to his ribs during a loss to the Washington Redskins. He was a limited participant in practice on Friday and may suit up as Kolb's backup.

Kolb will make his second consecutive start, as he completed 21-of-31 passes for 253 yards and a touchdown in a win over San Francisco last week.

Defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley (elbow) has also been ruled out for Sunday's tilt.
