PITTSBURGH -- Quarterback Charlie Batch will again get the start for the Pittsburgh Steelers in Sunday's home game against NFC North rival Baltimore.

The 13-year veteran was pressed into duty on Sept. 19 at Tennessee when Dennis Dixon went down with a left knee injury. In that game, Batch completed only 5-of-11 throws for 25 yards, but the Steelers earned a 19-11 victory.

Last Sunday at Tampa, the 35-year-old Batch was significantly better, passing for 186 yards and three scores while connecting on 12-of-17 passes in Pittsburgh's 38-13 demolishing to the Buccaneers. He was picked off twice.

"He is doing a nice job," said Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin. "We won last week. That is a good place to start. The guys have a great deal of confidence in him. He is simply a man that's taking advantage of an opportunity. You have to be happy for him."

Pittsburgh has a bye in Week 5 and it's expected that starting quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who is sitting out a league-mandated four-game suspension to start the season, will be under centre when the Steelers host Cleveland on Oct. 17.
