The Browns have gone a sluggish 0-2 and clearly are not getting much in the way of respect.

So says Cleveland centre Alex Mack who was more than a bit chafed at Kansas City Chiefs defensive lineman Shaun Smith during a third-down play late in the first half of Sunday’s game.

“He grabbed my (testicles), and I don’t think he should be able to do that,” Mack said, stating the obvious. “And I’m still fired up about it.”

Smith, who played for the Browns for two seasons, said that’s a low blow.

“I don’t recall doing anything like that,” Smith said. “I’m not known for being a dirty player or anything like that, so I don’t know what that was all about.”

Mack, though, was fired up about something.

During Cleveland’s next offensive series, Mack was called for a 15-yard unnecessary roughness penalty.

Maybe he was just going a little nuts.
