Turner leaves with injury

ATLANTA -- Atlanta Falcons running back Michael Turner injured his groin during's Sunday's 41-7 win over the Cardinals.

Turner, who played just 11 games last year due to injuries, had gained 75 yards on nine carries before leaving due to the ailment in the second quarter.

The Falcons were already without backup running back Jerious Norwood, who was carted off the field after he injured his knee returning the opening kickoff.

Jason Snelling carried the load in relief, amassing 186 total yards with three touchdowns.
