GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Arizona Cardinals running back Beanie Wells is inactive for a second straight week with a nagging knee injury.
Wells experienced swelling in his knee after Thursday's practice and participated on a limited basis in Friday's session. He was officially listed as questionable on the injury report.
The former Ohio State standout, who was injured often during his college career, played in all 16 games last year for the Cardinals. Tim Hightower is likely to see a majority of the carries this week against the Falcons.
Also inactive is nose tackle Gabe Watson.
