The injury bug keeps finding Donovan McNabb. Washington may face Dallas in their season opener without their injury-jinxed quarterback.

McNabb hasn't practised since spraining his left ankle in the second pre-season game against Baltimore. He sat out Friday's game against the Jets and he has been wearing a black sleeve on his left leg.

Head coach Mike Shanahan said the leg is too sore for McNabb to play Thursday against Arizona, although he'd probably not play anyway. No. 2 quarterback Rex Grossman isn't going to play either to prevent possible injury.

McNabb has been sidelined by injuries in four of the past five seasons.
