KANSAS CITY - Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver DeSean Jackson left Friday’s preseason game against the Chiefs with an upper back injury in the first quarter and will not return.

The third-year wideout was hurt on the first Eagles play from scrimmage after taking a hard hit.

Jackson made 125 receptions for 2,079 yards and 11 touchdowns in his first two seasons in the league.

Philadelphia defensive end Trent Cole also left the game with an ankle injury, though X-rays turned out to be negative.
