Broncos' Moreno, Buckhalter injured

ENGLEWOOD, CO - Denver running backs Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter were injured on the Broncos' first day of training camp.

According to the Denver Post, Moreno was carted off the field after suffering an injury to his right knee or ankle. Moments later, Buckhalter, per the paper, injured his left leg and left the field with a trainer.

There was no immediate word on the extent of their injuries. The Broncos traded running back J.J. Arrington to Philadelphia on the eve of camp.

Moreno, the 12th overall pick in the 2009 draft, rushed for 947 yards and seven touchdowns last season. Buckhalter gained 642 yards on the ground and caught 31 passes for 240 yards.
