Overdue Bills

Ralph Wilson bought the Buffalo Bills for $25,000 as an expansion franchise in the American Football League. Today, give or take a million, he could sell his team for about $750 million US. He has made his money, your money, my money, and just about everyone else's money over the life of the franchise. His whining, that the Bills are in financial peril, is groundless and annoying.

INJURED ALLISON

Since Jason Allison's season ended in a fight in Montreal, three things have happened with the Maple Leafs. One, the team started winning. Two, the team started scoring at even strength. Three, the team stopped scoring on the power play. Bringing him back next year would be a mistake.

TO PLAY OR NOT TO PLAY

Brett Favre had a much anticipated press conference yesterday to announce he had nothing to announce. Favre was supposed to let people know, not to mention his employers, whether he would be playing quarterback this coming season for the Green Bay Packers. So the Packers wait, their future held hostage by one of their greatest and least decisive players.
