NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS (8-5)
A little early to revive 3-peat talk, but the champs are looking stronger by the week and they would be a dangerous first-round opponent.
SEATTLE SEAHAWKS (11-2)
The Colts of the West/NFC have outscored the opposition 83-3 in the past two weeks.
SAN DIEGO CHARGERS (8-5)
The only "winnable" game in their final four and they go down at home to the Dolphins. Could be a season killer.
HOUSTON TEXANS (1-12)
The worst field-goal attempt in history. Looks like Houston is kicking for Reggie Bush.
THE BIG GAME
BUCCANEERS VS. PATRIOTS
A nice matchup to kick off the first Saturday game of the season as the Bucs have to keep their NFC South hopes alive on the road against the tough-again Patriots. This game features the past four Super Bowl winners -- New England the past two seasons and in 2001, Tampa in 2002.
