WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE PRE-GAME MEAL?

Grits, cheese eggs and toast. People in Canada don't know what grits are but they're cream and wheat, a little like porridge.

WHAT'S YOUR FUNNIEST FOOTBALL MEMORY?

When I was in Pop Warner, my father let me drive a riding lawn mower for the first time. I ran over a brick. I was so afraid he wouldn't let me ride it again, so I jumped off and picked up the brick and then dropped it on my big toe. I almost sliced it off. That was Thursday and the game was Saturday. We didn't have enough money to go to a doctor. My mom just wrapped it up with gauze. The game was a double header. My mom would have to keep changing my gauze because my sock was so bloody. At halftime of the second game, my coach got up for a speech and was crying: 'Look at Rahim, he's only got nine toes and he's out there fighting.' My teammates started cheering, 'Let's win this for Rahim.' That makes me laugh.

WHAT'S THE BEST PART ABOUT BEING A PRO ATHLETE?

My mother still gets to see me play after 23 years of playing football.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE ROAD CITY?

The best ones are the ones out East -- Toronto and Hamilton -- because my in-laws can come.

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVOURITE PLAYER AND TEAM GROWING UP?

Roger Staubach and the Dallas Cowboys.

ARE YOU TIDY OR MESSY?

Extremely messy. If I wasn't married, it would be horrible. There would be all kinds of disgusting things growing in my house.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC OR MOVIE TO RELAX TO?

My favourite movie would be Oliver Twist, the old one from back in the '50s. For music, country music is my favourite. You probably don't believe that, do you? My mother loved it. She would play it when I was a little kid and it stuck with me.

WHO COULD PLAY YOU IN YOUR BIOMOVIE?

Me. Nobody else could play me. Denzel Washington could do it but he might be too short. They could just hire short actors around him to make him look taller. He's probably the only one who could come close to playing me.

IF YOU COULD PLAY ANOTHER POSITION, WHAT WOULD IT BE?

Quarterback. It would be like, 'Michael Vick who?' I have wicked skills. I'm trying to teach Hank (Henry Burris) some but he won't listen.

IS THERE A REASON YOU CHOSE YOUR NUMBER, OR IF YOU COULD CHOOSE A NUMBER WHAT WOULD IT BE AND WHY?

My number was five in high school and I wanted that in college. Some other guy had it, so they gave me 53. At least it had a five in it. Me and my brother both have 53 now and I've kept it since, expect for Edmonton. Tim Prinsen had 53 and Glen Young had 55, so I couldn't get either.

WHAT PERSON COULD MAKE YOU ANXIOUS JUST BY BEING IN THE STANDS?

My mother or my wife. I like to do well for them to make them proud. My mother only missed my games since I came up to Canada. She watches on television. From Pop Warner until I came to Canada, she only missed two games my whole life.

IF YOU COULD GO BACK IN TIME, WHERE WOULD YOU GO AND WHO WOULD YOU WANT TO MEET?

I would go back and meet my grandfather. I knew him but I was too young to appreciate it.

WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE THING TO DO ON A DAY OFF?

Play video games, all day.

WHAT'S YOUR GREATEST ACHIEVEMENT?

My family -- my kids and my wife. I have three kids -- one that just turned nine, one that's one and a half and one that's six weeks.
