The Toronto Sun's expert prognosticator, Randall The Handle, has been hot this season and this week goes big-time.

The Handle is a contestant in the prestigious Stardust Invitational Handicapping tournament in Las Vegas where he takes on "professional sports bettor" Marc Lawrence.

The pair go head-to-head on a handful of college and pro games of their choice with the winner advancing to the next round.

Among his NFLpicks, the Handle has played the Ravens as his best bet.

QUICK HITS

A record that has stood four decades is on borrowed time. Should Chargers running back LaDainian Tomlinson score a touchdown against the Eagles in Philadelphia, it will be his 19th game in a row with a score. Tomlinson shares the mark with Hall of Famer Lenny Moore, who set the record in 1963-65 with the Baltimore Colts ... With the broken fibula he suffered in Buffalo healed, word is the Detroit Lions will turn to QB Jeff Garcia today. Not a moment too soon for Joey Harrington haters.
