Snap judgments

JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS (3-2)

Knocked the previously undefeated Bengals down a notch. Jags still have questions on offence, but the defence plays to hurt.

CLEVELAND BROWNS (2-2)

Don't look now, but the Browns have two wins. They never are going to climb much above .500 but progress may come quicker than expected.

DALLAS COWBOYS (3-2)

When they are on, they're on as they showed in a dominating win over the Eagles. QB Drew Bledsoe is at his best when he's allowed to gun it.

BALTIMORE RAVENS (1-3)

Forget these guys being the surprise team of '05. Their defence is starting to look average and the offence doesn't exist.

TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS (4-1)

With the Cadillac in the garage, the joyride has ended. Remember, with four wins, they've yet to beat a team with a winning record.

HOUSTON TEXANS (0-4)

Ticket to suicide pool success: Take whoever these guys are playing. They may not win a game with that offensive line.
