SEATTLE SEAHAWKS

2004 RECORD: 9-7

SUPER ODDS: 25-1; OVER/UNDER: 8 1/2

SUN SAYS: The Seahawks may have been division winners but did so with just nine victories. Stud Shaun Alexander is a poolies delight at RB and Matt Hasselback is acceptable at the QB spot. Without a playoff win or two this time around though, the Mike Holmgren era may be nearing its end on the west coast.

ST. LOUIS RAMS

2004 RECORD: 8-8

SUPER ODDS: 25-1; OVER/UNDER: 8 1/2

SUN SAYS: During the pre-season, the Rams showed enough glimpses that the Greatest Show on Turf may be back. Marc Bulger looked sharp at QB and RB Steven Jackson indicated he'll provide a nice dual threat alongside Marshall Faulk. With WRs Torry Holt and Isaac Bruce options abound. As usual though, the Rams will need a boost on defence to threaten beyond their division.

ARIZONA CARDINALS

2004 RECORD: 6-10

SUPER ODDS: 50-1; OVER/UNDER: 7 1/2

SUN SAYS: After so many years of misery, Dennis Green era picks up some steam, so much so that the coach may even get this team to a .500 record. Former Super Bowl winner Kurt Warner gives the offence some marquee value and the two-time MVP has some decent wideouts in Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin. It's a little much to ask for the second winning season in the past 18, but the Cards are getting closer.

SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS

2004 RECORD: 2-14

SUPER ODDS: 200-1; OVER/UNDER: 4 1/2

SUN SAYS: Another struggling season for a team that was horrid a year ago. Hope for the future, quarterback Alex Smith, couldn't even crack the starting lineup. When Tim Rattay is your starter and there's not much source for optimism.
