Jesse Palmer led a winning drive on natural grass yesterday.

The New York Giants quarterback's fourth annual golf tournament, the Jesse Palmer Invitational, raised $25,000 at the Canadian Golf and Country Club yesterday.

"It's a great opportunity to come home and give back to the community, to the Junior Riders and Cystic Fibrosis," said Palmer, who had brother Billy Palmer, a tight end with the Washington Redskins, teammate Amani Toomer and NFL receiver Freddie Mitchell, among other NFLers, on hand.

"It's a great chance to show my teammates and some friends around the league a beautiful city and have some fun."

The tournament is played in the memory of Howard Campbell, the late equipment manager of the Myers Riders who became a great friend of Palmer's during his time with the club.
