Manti Te’o’s web of lies won’t go away.

And now, it looks like daytime talk show host Dr. Phil McGraw is weaving his way in between the Notre Dame linebacker and the person behind a baffling story.

Following Te’o’s interview with Katie Couric this week, Dr. Phil has apparently already filmed a show with the alleged mastermind behind it all, Ronaiah Tuiasosopo.

According to TMZ, in addition to commenting on the Couric interview, Dr. Phil’s conversation with Tuiasosopo is emotional, deep and expected to air next week.

In yet another twist, the hoaxer’s family told the New York Post on Friday that the female voice on the phone with Te'o wasn’t Tuiasosopo, but his female cousin, Tino Tuiasosopo.

Te’o has maintained from the beginning that he had no part in the planning of a hoax that saw the NCAA Heisman Trophy candidate vault into the spotlight.
