NCAA Football: Southwick money for Boise State

Just like with his predecessor Kellen Moore, it seems there's no gamble going with Boise State Broncos quarterback Joe Southwick in the Las Vegas Bowl.

Stealing a page from Moore's playbook the previous two years, Southwick knows how to get the cards to go his way in the Sin City-hosted NCAA football bowl game, as he did with a 28-26 win Saturday over the Washington Huskies.

Southwick led the No. 19 Broncos on a late 10-play drive to set up the game-winning field goal by Michael Frisina from 27 yards out with 76 seconds left on the game clock to get the victory, running Boise State's win string to three straight in the Las Vegas Bowl.
