Thousands of people lined the streets of College Station, Pa., Wednesday to say goodbye as Joe Paterno's funeral procession rolled past.

Private funeral services were held for the long-time former Penn State football coach on the university campus. Paterno's casket was taken from the campus spiritual centre and carried past Beaver Stadium and the university library, which is named after him.
