Lexington, KY – Kentucky quarterback Mike Hartline was arrested early Friday morning and is facing several charges related to a disturbance call near the University of Kentucky campus.

According to police reports, Hartline was arrested at 3:23 a.m. (et) and charged with second degree disorderly conduct, alcohol intoxication in a public place and failure to notify the department of transportation of a change of address. His arraignment was set for 1:00 p.m. Friday and he was released on $235.00 bail.

The report from the Lexington Police Department said a woman named Samantha Sheeran alleged that Hartline, 22, struck her, causing pain to the lower jaw, and verbally assaulted her.

It said Hartline and a group of others engaged in a "verbal disorder" during a taxi ride after they left a local bar. Once they arrived at 1103 Crescent Ave., in a residential neighborhood close to UK's campus, they began yelling and cursing.

According to the report, Hartline saw the police cruiser arriving and quickly started walking toward University Ave. Hartline was "unsteady on his feet," emitted a strong odor of alcohol, was slurring his speech and had bloodshot, watery eyes. It said he was "under the influence of alcohol to the degree of being a danger to himself and others."
