Bizarre news emerged out of Arizona on Tuesday, as former Bombers quarterback Max Hall, who was released at the end of training camp, was arrested last week, and charged with shoplifting and cocaine possession.

The former BYU quarterback started nine games for the Blue and Gold last season but lost his backup job to Brian Brohm this year. He started three games for the Arizona Cardinals in 2010 and spent a year out of football before joining the Bombers in 2012.

Hall is currently the offensive co-ordinator of an Arizona high school team.
