The Bombers offence has cooled considerably after exploding out of the gate.

It needs to improve in a hurry if they’re going to have any success in the second half of the season.

The Bombers failed to hit the 300-yard mark of net offence in Sunday’s 10th straight Labour Day Classic loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders. Quarterback Drew Willy threw for only 171 yards — the third time in the last seven games he’s been held to fewer than 200 yards — and the Blue and Gold ended up with 228 yards overall. Only once in the last seven games have the Bombers topped the 300-yard mark.
