WINNIPEG - As expected, Lirim Hajrullahu has been named the CFL’s special teams player of the week.

The rookie Bombers placekicker converted all five of his field goal tries in Friday’s 23-6 win over the host B.C. Lions, including 51- and 49-yarders. The Western Mustangs grad has connected on 13 of 14 field goal attempts this season.

The Bombers are on the turf field today next to Winnipeg Indoor Soccer Complex, since they are still cleaning up Investors Group Field following the Beyonce/Jay Z concert on Sunday night.

Slotback Nick Moore and offensive lineman Dan Knapp are both spectators today, which means they likely won't play against Hamilton on Thursday night at Ron Joyce Stadium. Moore is Winnipeg's leading receiver and is coming off a seven-catch, 99-yard performance against B.C.
