The Winnipeg Blue Bombers want to win Friday night's game against the B.C. Lions.

Of course they do. That's what the name of the game is.

However, a couple members of the Bombers admitted this week there is a little more gravitas to this week's contest at B.C. Place. If you look at how they won (or, in last week's case, how they lost) as well as their declining statistics, the Bombers have gotten worse over each of the first four weeks of the season.

They have a fancy 3-1 record, but in a way they have to stop the bleeding, if you can believe that.

"This is big for our team, as far as division play and just where we're at, in a strong West Division," cornerback Chris Randle said. "We want to go out there and put our best foot forward and win this game."
