Phase 1 of Operation Bounceback is officially underway for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

Although the 3-1 Blue Bombers won’t return to the practice field until Monday, they spent a good chunk of Sunday deciphering the video from Thursday’s 26-3 loss to the Edmonton Eskimos.

What stood out from all that time in the film room?

“Mistakes, but they stand out even in wins,” said Blue Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea, as he spoke for nearly 12 minutes to a group of reporters. “Mistakes always stand out. For most professional athletes, mistakes stand out for them too, more than the successes. It was a good day to come in, look at the film, correct it and move on to B.C.”
