The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have never missed the playoffs when starting a season with a 3-0 record.

They have a chance to do just that tomorrow night at Molson Stadium when they battle the Montreal Alouettes (1-1) in their first road game of the young CFL season, and they will have their top receiver at their disposal, too.

Aaron Kelly, who suffered a knee injury in practice this week, was declared good to go by Bombers head coach Mike O’Shea after the team arrived in Montreal this afternoon. Winnipeg is so confident in Kelly’s ability to play that it didn’t bring any extra receivers to Quebec.

The Bombers will be making five roster changes in all. Cordaro Howard will start at left guard in place of the injured Chris Greaves, while Johnny Sears will move from outside linebacker to safety in place of Moe Leggett. Teague Sherman will start at Sears’ spot in the linebacking corps as a result.
