WINNIPEG - A new Bombers regime has wiped the quarterback slate completely clean for the second time in the last four years.

The Blue and Gold released quarterback Max Hall on Friday, meaning every player who threw passes duringís the team dismal 3-15 season in 2013 is gone. Buck Pierce was traded in September, while Justin Goltz, Jason Boltus and Levi Brown, who spent most of the time on the practice roster, were released in the off-season.

The last time Winnipeg turfed every quarterback during an off-season was in 2010, which marked the arrival of general manager Joe Mack and head coach Paul LaPolice. That duo brought in Buck Pierce, Steven Jyles, Joey Elliott and Alex Brink to replace Michael Bishop, Ricky Santos, Casey Bramlet and Adam DiMichele.

Now itís happened again.
