Mike O’Shea in December became the 30th head coach in Winnipeg Blue Bombers history. The Sun’s Kirk Penton recently chatted with O’Shea to learn a little more about the man who has been hired to help turn around the struggling franchise. Here is the second of a two-part series.

SUN: Do you still downplay the number of tackles you made in your career?

MO: Yeah, absolutely.

SUN: Time hasn’t changed that?

MO: In Hamilton I had a favourable spotter in the stands, and I had Mike Philbrick and Mike Campbell in front of me dragging down every offensive lineman out there. So that number is not important to me.
